Pledge Music in 2017/2018 was the home for the second album, War Torn. Micci wrote this album through her observations of how we are all affected by war, even when it isn't happening in your own country. Empathy is the key to create an album like this, through watching footage of the soldiers online and their reactions by being put into dire situations and the families who need to flee from their homes to survive, often leaving behind the loved ones who've fallen victim to the many attacks and gun fire.
War Torn is a plea to all who govern, to stop this brutal assault on the innocent to solve their problems and disputes.

for every child in danger
10% profit was directly sent, via Pledge Music, to UNICEF. Micci joined UNICEF, and as a thank you was sent a special package, which included leaflets on how pledger's money would be used to help families in war torn countries. These leaflets, including stickers, were sent out with each album sold.
Physical CD albums are now out of stock. Download this album from Bandcamp and many other online sites. Stream from Spotify, Apple Music and many other platforms too.
Single release, armchair generals
1. Armchair generals
2. No Justice
2. No Justice
Through an online survey She's Got Claws concluded that the first track, Armchair Generals, was the most popular song.
"Due to how the media have a constant way of informing us, with their unsympathetic manner, about wars and the people in these war torn countries, I felt compelled to make fun of the media's foolish irresponsible behaviour and the insensitive reactions of many 'Armchair Generals' to these tragic events unfolding. These generals watch people's misery from the many comforts of their safe homes."
"Pointing the finger at families and telling them to not flee to safety is so inhumane. We do not know what the future holds for any of us, wars can happen in any country, we need to help as much as we can, because we may need their help one day." - Micci Lou
War Torn had one single release in November 2017. Micci quickly wrote the track, No Justice, to accompany Armchair Generals on this single release. No Justice was written and produced in two days. The original version had samples added of members of the UK government pandering to the many prejudices to win over votes, which Micci found online in the public domain.
This version didn't make it onto the single release and was instead added to the War Torn Demos album as a bonus track.
The War Torn Demos album could only be purchased from Pledge Music. 10% profit of this demo album went to UNICEF. You can download this album from Bandcamp.
