SGC's new album, Everything Ends To Begin, has 9 tracks of cool familiar vibes with a current realness. This is the 4th studio album and is regarded by many to be the most accomplished collection of songs to date.
With live bass and synths at the forefront, combined with beats, guitar and melodic female vocals. Micci has introduced electric guitar to their new album, playing on 7 songs, which has added a new depth and electro-rock attitude.
She's Got Claws wear influences on her sleeve, with the new album throwing itself wide open to dance, indie and rock fans alike.
Influences: P J Harvey, The Kills, St Vincent, The Killers
What Reviewers are saying...
"Rewind To Fade is the opening track which holds a nod to Gary Numan's Tubeway Army days with Moog synths throughout and counterpoint bass lines. Monsters From The ID combines early New Order 'Hooky' style bass riffs meets Human League Linn drum programming from their Dare album. You Were Never Here creates a sense of sexy tension and release with its huge rolling overdriven bass, akin to a White Stripes feel, with alluring vocals. Caterpillar People is influenced by the octave driven guitar on 'U.R.A.Fever' by The Kills. The tribal rhythms and powerful vocal line gives this song a potent force to be reckoned with. Razor Girl takes its inspirations from P J Harvey and gives this song a harder rock edge from the bass and lead guitar, with a rebellious vocal attitude.
All the songs are instantly uplifting and catchy, yet underneath all the attitude they are just great pop songs.
This album has already received stamps of approval from BBC Introducing who have SGC on their radio playlist and Andy McCluskey from the electronic band OMD. Their quotes are below.
Everything Ends To Begin is available from all streaming and download sites from 25 October 2024.

The claws remain sharp with the crunching bass and drums, but now sheathed in velvet melodies. Micci's lyrics still sweetly acid and the top lines are the strongest ever! Best She's Got Claws album yet! - Andy McCluskey, Orchestral Maneouvres in the Dark [2024]
She's Got Claws continue to push the boundaries, with music that speaks to every generation of rock fans. With a sawtooth rock edge that challenges and excites, they are always a highlight of the BBC Introducing playlist. - BBC Music Introducing [2024]
